SUMMER JOBS

Now on to the places I have worked. I worked at Microsoft (this was my first job ever). That was the summer between my junior and senior years of high school (summer of 1991). At Microsoft I worked in the product support area for LAN Manager. I then worked for The Computer Store during the summer that I graduated. At The Computer Store I work as a trainer. We were teaching Hypercard to school teachers. Imagine, me a 18 Year-old kid out of high school once again teaching teachers. Then I went to college and came back home for the summer not wanting to work... hard. So I found a job selling PC Tools... Over the telephone. YES, I was a telephone salesman. And last summer I wanted to go to Minot, North Dakota for the last month of summer, so I wanted to have a job that would only last about one month. And with my great luck, when I was home for spring break, a guy who works for D&D Floor Coverings, was needing to go in for surgery... during summer. He asked me if I would take his place for about 4 to 5 weeks. I said yes, and that was were I worked last summer. Let me tell you, working with computers was sometimes mentally hard, but I really enjoyed to use some physical labor for once. Now I know a college education is what I need. :)
